DuPont’s Nomex comfort fabric makes the Pioner Nomex coverall an incredibly lightweight flame retardant coverall that offers the highest level of protection.  The breathable Nomex fabric weighs less than a thin pair of jeans at 220g/m2 but despite being lightweight, it offers high levels of flame retardant, anti static and electronic arc protection.  The coverall is tailored to allow for a full range of movement and is manufactured by Nomex Quality Partner (NQP) Pioner.  Being Nomex, the garments Flame retardant properties will never wash out (unlike treated fabrics) adding real longevity to the coverall.  The result is a highly comfortable flame retardant coverall which allows you to work in any condition in the full knowledge that comfort hasn’t come at the compromise of protection.  

Features

Concealed heavy duty plastic two-way front zip to collar with heavy duty plastic press studs to provide additional protection against electric arc incidents.

Two front chest pockets with flaps and heavy duty plastic press stud closure.

Two front slash pockets with double layer fabric side access to under garments for increased thermal protection.

Plastic press stud adjusters at cuffs and hems. 

Action back.

50mm FR reflective tape atatched to arms, legs and shoulders.

Elasticated back waist.

Right back pocket c/w flap and heavy duty plastic press stud closure.

Rule pocket on right leg. Internal knee pad pockets with envelope design.

Garment reinforced with bar tacks throughout.

Fabric: Nomex® Comfort 220gm/2 (93% nomex, 5% kevlar, 2% anti-static fibre).
Standards: EN531 A, B1, C1 (Fabric complies with EN1149.3), Arc Thermal Protection Value: 5.1, ATPV (9.74) when worn over 165g/m2 cotton underwear).

 

Who is this for?

 

This coverall is the standout Nomex coverall for industry and, as such, is used in many different areas by people in demanding jobs.  Aviation, Oil and Gas and utilities are major users of this garment

Does it offer any protection?

It offers protection to the following EN Standards...

EN 531 (Flame retardant clothing)

Class A, (limited flame spread or flash fire)

Class B1, (convective heat)

Class C1, (radiant heat

EN 1149.3 (anti-static protection)

ATPV 5.1 (protection from electronic arc

ATPV (9.74) when worn over 165g/m2 cotton underwear).

How do I look after it?

 

You wash Nomex garments at home or dry clean

Pre wash at 50-60C, main wash 60-95C

Nomex can be tumble dried up to 100C

 

It is best to wash FR garments separately, do not bleach

 

How will it fit me?

 

Flame retardant garments should never be baggy, this is a fitted garment, designed to fit the wearer well and allow for a full range of movement.  If you need to wear several layers underneath this garment you may wish to consider a larger size
